Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect your email (and optionally your postcode) so we can tell you when Bustle launches in your area. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and you can tell us to delete it at any time.

1. Who we are

Bustle Technologies Ltd ("Bustle", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales. We are the "data controller" for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist on bustle.cab, we collect:

3. Our lawful basis

We process your personal data under the UK GDPR on the basis of your consent. You give consent by completing the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us (see Section 8).

4. How we store your data

Your data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare is our infrastructure provider, and acts as a data processor on our behalf. Data is hosted in the United Kingdom / European Economic Area. We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK/EEA.

5. How long we keep it

We'll keep your waitlist data until:

• Bustle launches in your area and you either become a customer or decline — in which case we keep your email on our marketing list unless you unsubscribe;
• You ask us to delete it, whichever comes first; or
• 24 months have passed since you joined the waitlist and Bustle has not yet launched in your area, at which point we will delete it automatically.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• Cloudflare (our hosting and database provider), under a standard data processing agreement;
• An email sending service (e.g. Loops, Kit, or similar) when we send you launch updates — we'll update this policy with the specific provider before we email you;
• Law enforcement or regulators, only if we're legally required to.

7. Cookies

This website does not currently set any cookies or use tracking pixels. If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct it if it's wrong;
• Ask us to delete it ("the right to be forgotten");
• Restrict or object to how we process it;
• Receive a copy in a portable format;
• Withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@bustle.cab. We'll respond within 30 days.

9. Complaints

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to fix it first though — please email us before going to the ICO.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll let you know by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
